I've been a freelancer and/or self-employed during most, not all, of my working life. If you haven't tried both, you may not realize the monotony and feelings of enslavement and degradation of employment. Once employed it's difficult to escape the strangleholds of its enslavement.

There are wide ranges of natures of businesses between being employed and fully freelance. By fully freelance, I mean being rent-free, tax-free and office-address-free on your business. The mobile phone (cell phone) has provided being all that and more if one can fully use all its functions and facilities. Average competence with even the basic functions and facilities of the mobile will assist you to gain all those natures of independence.

With a mobile, you can work in one place, reside in another, make incomes from and investments in another and put any savings in another. Legislation almost everywhere has made it designed so that you can live tax free or with minimum taxes and fees if you scatter yourself geographically like that. But I'm presently living in a tax-free country. So I don't need to scatter myself so much. Finally don't just sit there and wait until 2012. That BS about 2012 being the end of the world is just that, namely BS. There have always been Armageddon coming up within 5 to 25 year forecasts. My forecast is that it will happen on 14^th August 2014, when my Web Sire expires unless I extend it to 2025 or 2030. Is 2012 being the end of time what your positive thinking gets you to?
